As Met Plaizier is the neighborhood cantine and the vitrine for young entrepreneurs, we organise one brunch per month where we highlight a young entrepreneurial chef.
This month, we share our place to discover IKI, which is an Asian inspiration cantine and local products. The founder, Tan, explained to us that Iki is an abbreviation of the Japanese word "Ikigai", which means "reason for being". He quoted: "Sharing my love for Belgium and Asia through cooking is my raison d'être, which allows me to get up with the desire to make the world a better place. In Japan, the term "Ikigai" refers to "one's own reason for being". This is what I want to share with you through IKI."
